Omnitrans Safety Rules

Wait at the bus stop sign safely away from the street.

Watch your step when you board the bus, and have your exact change ready for the bus fare.

Find a seat as soon as you get on the bus, and sit quietly while the bus is moving.

Never eat or drink on an Omnitrans bus.

Never play radios or make loud noises that may distract the driver, and never talk to the driver while the bus is moving.

Keep your arms and legs out of the aisle.

Always wait until the bus stops before you exit through the rear door.

Wait for the bus to drive away, watch for cars and cross the street only at a crosswalk.

Never run near a moving bus or reach out to try to stop it, and never try to stop the bus doors from closing with your hands or arms.

Always be polite and considerate of others at all times.
