  • Student IDs are not considered passes – a separate pass must be obtained at the Campus Store.
  • All passes from previous quarters need to be renewed by visiting the Campus Store.
  • If your pass reads “error” or “invalid” when swiped, visit the Cage to get the card re-coded.

  1. Why doesn’t omnitrans offer this program for the San Bernardino Adult School on Baseline and “E” street?

    1. Hi Albert,

With the Go Smart program, all of the students at participating colleges pay a small transportation fee as part of their college fees at the beginning of each semester which allows them unlimited bus rides with their student ID throughout the year. If you are interested in having your school join the Go Smart program, you can ask your school administrators to contact Omnitrans Marketing Director Wendy Williams for more information. Her email address is wendy.williams@omnitrans.org

  2. I just began school this summer term, and i have a valid school ID, can i still ride for free? And do i just swipe it like a bus pass to use it?

    1. Hi Brenda, Students who are just beginning at Chaffey, Crafton Hills, or SB Valley colleges for the summer term and who are continuing for the fall term will be eligible for unlimited rides with Go Smart beginning July 1st using their fall student ID. Upon boarding the bus, simply show your fall student ID to the driver as proof of your Go Smart student status.

    1. Students from the colleges participating in the Go Smart program ride at no charge using their student ID.
