Students in Transit is a youth council for your local transportation agency, Omnitrans. When you join, you get to make a difference in your community and help shape the future of transportation across San Bernardino County. Being a member of the SIT council will also give you the opportunity to learn more about the dozens of careers in transportation and make your future resume stand out.

Make a difference while learning real-world skills!
Students will have the opportunity to select from the following areas of interest at Omnitrans as a topic for a project during their term:
- Resource Management (Finance)
- Ridership (Planning/Marketing)
- Safety (Maintenance)
- Technology (IT)
- Workforce (HR/Operations)

Eligibility Requirements
- Students must be a sophomore, junior or senior to participate
- Must live and go to school in the County of San Bernardino
- The SIT Council is a one-year participation commitment
- Accepted students will participate in a two-hour meeting once per month beginning in September 2023
- Parent or guardian must sign a photo/video release form in order to participate
