🗺️ Routing and Map Changes
A few routes will also see slight routing updates to improve circulation and access.
- Route 1
Service will shift from 2nd Street to Rialto Avenue between Mt. Vernon Avenue and the San Bernardino Transit Center. Routing within Arrowhead Regional Medical Center will change direction of travel, departing left on Blue Lane, left on Pepper, and left on Valley Boulevard. - Routes 3 and 4
Routing will move from G and H Streets and 5th Street to travel on 2nd Street and Mt. Vernon Avenue. - Route 22
Routing within Arrowhead Regional Medical Center will change direction of travel, entering at Blue Lane, turning right on Green Circle, left on Plum Place, right on Meridian Avenue, and left onto Valley Boulevard.
🚏 A New Transfer Center Takes Shape
Looking ahead, catching Omnitrans Routes 61, 81, 82, 290, and RTA Route 204 will soon be more convenient with the opening of a newly redesigned Ontario Mills stop in early 2026. This upgraded stop will feature ADA-accessible ramps and new bus bays.
Construction on the full Ontario Mills Transfer Center will continue into mid-2026, with future additions including real-time arrival information and station canopies. Once complete, the Transfer Center will also serve as a station for Omnitrans’ next bus rapid transit line, the sbX Purple Line, scheduled to open in late 2026.
Plan Ahead
As always, we recommend checking the Bus Book online for updated schedules and maps, and subscribing to route alerts on Simplify Transit for the latest service information.
Small changes can make a big difference. Thank you for riding with Omnitrans as we continue building better connections for the year ahead!
