Guide to May 2022 Service Changes

Great news! We are pleased to announce that Omnitrans’ May service changes will mark a return to hourly weekday service for several routes! With these changes, we will enhance run-time and bus connections throughout the San Bernardino Valley. Be sure to plan ahead as these changes take effect on Monday, May 2nd, 2022.
The May 2022 issue of the BusBook also features a Summer Youth Fare promotion, returning this year to allow youth 18 and younger to ride the bus for just $1 per trip! Valid on any Omnitrans fixed route or sbX bus from June 1st – August 1st. And don’t forget that students can also ride for free all school year with their valid school ID!
Here is a summary of May 2022 Service Changes:
Trips will be added back into Routes 67, 81, 83, 84, 85, 87, and 88to bring those routes back to hourly weekday service.
Routes 4 and 8: Weekdays – Minor early AM schedule change to improve transfers to Metrolink.
Route 61: Weekdays – Eastbound 4:05 AM and 9:13 PM trips added. Saturdays Westbound 6:00 AM trip added.
Route 66: Weekdays – Eastbound6:25 AM and 9:05 trips have been adjusted; Weekdays – Westbound 7:53 AM and 10:38 have been adjusted.
Route 67: Weekdays – Eastbound 9:55 and 11:55 AM trips added; Weekday Westbound 10:55 AM and 12:55 PM trips added.
Route 81: Weekdays – Northbound 5:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 3:00 PM, and 8:00 PM trips added; Southbound 9:15 AM, 2:15 PM, and 7:15 PM trips added.
Route 83: Weekdays – Northbound 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM trips added; Southbound 2:52 PM and 7:52 PM trips added.
Route 84: Weekdays – Southbound 1:15 PM and 6:25 PM trips added; Northbound 3:57 PM trip added. Weekend schedules have minor time adjustments.
Route 85: Weekdays – Southbound 6:34 AM. 2:04 PM and 5:34 PM trips were added; Northbound 8:20 AM, 3:50 PM, and 7:20 PM trips were added.
Route 87: Weekdays – Southbound 6:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM trips added; Northbound 7:35 AM, 12:35 PM, 2:35 PM and 5:35 PM trips added.
Route 88: Weekdays – Southbound 4:40 PM trip added; Northbound 5:32 trip added. Weekend schedules have minor time adjustments.
Route 215: Weekdays – Afternoon trips adjusted.
