Adopt-A-Stop and help keep San Bernardino clean
Keeping our cities clean is best accomplished when everyone in the community takes action. With Omnitrans’ Adopt-A-Stop program, you have the ability to help make a positive impact in your neighborhood. With over 2,500 bus stops in our service area, keeping up with maintenance and trash collection is a demanding task. But when civic-minded individuals join us to maintain litter-free bus stops, the San Bernardino Valley becomes a better place to live and work for all of us.
Contact our Adopt-A-Stop Coordinator for more information about community partnerships and events.
Get involved in your community
Omnitrans invites local businesses, non-profit organizations, community groups, families, and individuals to adopt bus stops within our service area. Partners of the Adopt-a-Stop program will receive recognition on 14” x 22” signs at their selected bus stop. Additionally, Omnitrans will recognize adopters with dedicated social media posts with a combined reach of over 8,600 followers. Give back to the safety and cleanliness of our community.
Volunteer Litter Pickup
Keep San Bernardino clean by volunteering to pick up trash at a chosen bus stop. Monitor the bus stop with a weekly trash pickup. Groups, families, or individuals can sign up and give back to their community through the Volunteer Litter Pickup program. One-year commitment is required. An Omnitrans’ Adopt-A-Stop coordinator will interact with one representative on behalf of the group to coordinate and provide further instructions. After the first two months that the group fulfills its commitment, Omnitrans will install a recognition sign at the selected stop.
