Ride Omnitrans for Cleaner Air
Over half of our buses are now near zero emissions or 100% electric
While service was reduced due to COVID-19, Omnitrans took the opportunity to improve the fleet and converted over half of the buses to near zero emissions. Four 100% electric buses have also been added to the fleet. These major improvements align with Omnitrans long-term goal to provide eco-friendly public transportation to San Bernardino County. In typical years, Omnitrans rides represent 11 million cars taken off the roads and incredible reductions in overall emissions and environmental impact for the area. These new bus improvements continue to reduce environmental impact for Omnitrans bus service and contribute to blue skies in San Bernardino County for generations to come.
