As Veterans Day approaches, it’s time to reflect on the immeasurable sacrifices made by our brave men and women in uniform. This special day is dedicated to honoring the service and dedication of veterans who have selflessly defended our nation’s freedom. In a heartwarming gesture of gratitude, our community is coming together to offer a token of appreciation. On Veterans Day this year, all veterans will have the opportunity to ride Omnitrans buses completely free of charge.
Don’t forget that veterans ride at a discounted rate year-round!
If you’re a veteran, mark your calendars for Veterans Day this year and take advantage of this thoughtful initiative. Present your valid military identification or any other proof of service when boarding the bus, and the fare will be waived. Let this be a day for you to relax, travel, and enjoy the ride, knowing that our community deeply values your service.
Here are the following options for proof to ride FREE on Omnitrans
- DMV ID/Driver’s License with veteran designation
- County of San Bernardino Military Veterans ID card
- US Department of Veterans Affairs ID card
- Department of Defense retired ID card
- Transit agency veteran ID card.
