This October, spiders are not the only ones hanging on the “web.” Launching Monday, October 5, the new Omnitrans.org will feature a sleek, upgraded look that streamlines bus rider information, highlights news and promotions, and places customer tools at the forefront for those on-the-go!

Upon landing on the homepage, you will see the four essential rider tools: a built-in trip planner for step by step directions, real-time bus arrival tracking with Transit or NexTrip, rider alerts and detour information, and an interactive listing of all Omnitrans bus routes and schedules. These four tools follow you through your navigation of the website with an easily accessible ‘Tools’ button on the top right corner that toggles these four tools for your convenience.

The redesigned route pages provide a glimpse into the destinations served by the route and their level of bus frequency. An interactive route map allows you to closely see nearby streets and locations along the bus route, and the upgraded schedules provide more detail, including bus stops and times, from point of origin to destination!

Other highlights include the new Fares & Passes page, which places focus on value and makes shopping for a pass online easier than ever. The new OmniNews blog continues to provide the latest Omnitrans scoop with the option to filter by stories, news, or service alerts categories.
