Route 87 Detour in Ontario, Bus Stops Relocated

Due to ongoing construction for I-10 Freeway ramps, the Route 87 bus will slightly detour in Ontario effective today. Bus stops have been relocated, so please keep this in mind if you catch the bus along the affected area.
As seen on the map, Route 87 will now travel west on 6th Street from Vineyard Avenue, head south on Grove Avenue and resuming regular routing on 4th Street. For northbound Route 87, reverse this routing. (New routing is seen outline in green on the map below. The blue dotted line represents the previous routing.)
Bus stops along the previous routing have been closed and relocated along the new routing for Route 87.
This will be in effect for at least two years, according to city staff overseeing the construction project. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
