#WearBlueDay: Omnitrans Supports National Human Trafficking Awareness Day
January 14, 2020

Omnitrans was proud to participate in this year’s National Human Trafficking Awareness Day on January 11 to bring awareness to this awful crime. In recognition of this day, the Department of Homeland Security’s Blue Campaign hosts several special events and educational activities.
The largest initiative, and the easiest for you to get involved with, happens on January 11 as #WearBlueDay is promoted across social media. To raise awareness of human trafficking, people take photos of themselves, friends, faimly, or colleagues wearing blue to share on social media. The #WearBlueDay hashtag is used to reach people and spread the message.
