On February 1st, Martin Cervantes was selected and presented as one of the Employees of the 4th Quarter at the Board of Directors meeting. Mitchell Granillo, Shift Supervisor explained the great things Martin has done to earn this employee of the quarter award

• Martin has demonstrated his willingness to help the Maintenance Department meet its goals and objectives by providing not only quality mechanical repairs, but also Shift Supervisor coverage at West Valley throughout the year. With staffing shortages, Martin volunteered to work more than 500 hours overtime in 2022, to ensure bus availability.
• Martin always maintains a positive outlook and is currently being trained on electric bus maintenance and repair, which he is looking forward to. Martin stated that being prepared and learning the new systems will allow him to be ready for the upcoming West Valley Connector electric buses that will arrive next year.
